Breathwork in Beirut

Guided breathwork sessions in Beirut, at our studio in Tabaris, Achrafieh, a few minutes from Downtown and Gemmayzeh. From calming breathwork for stress to Transformational Holistic Breathing (THB), Active Consciousness Meditation and breathwork combined with energy healing, every session is guided from start to finish, in English, French or Arabic. No experience needed.

What breathwork is

Breathwork is guided, conscious breathing. The breath is the one part of the nervous system you can steer on purpose: slow breathing with a longer exhale shifts the body toward its rest state, which is why a session can ease stress that has stayed switched on for months -- a familiar state for many people in Beirut.

Our sessions range from gentle to intense. Calming breathwork is steady throughout and is where most people start. Transformational Holistic Breathing (THB) is our longest and most immersive session, using faster, deeper breathing for deep emotional release, in a group or privately. Active Consciousness Meditation moves a rhythmic breath through the seven main chakras, and Breathwork & Energy Healing pairs conscious breathing with hands-on energy work.

Intense breathwork is not for everyone: avoid it if you are pregnant or have a heart condition, high blood pressure or epilepsy, and tell your facilitator about any trauma history before you begin. Breathwork can sit alongside therapy or medical care, but it never replaces them.

What to expect

A Breathwork & Meditation session is guided from start to finish, so there is nothing to prepare or get right. You lie or sit comfortably while the practitioner talks you through the breathing pattern, adjusting the pace to how you respond. Expect to feel calmer and lighter by the end; a longer session can also bring up emotion, which is a normal part of the release rather than something to be concerned about.

Frequently asked questions

I have never meditated or done breathwork. Is that OK?

Yes, it is fine. Sessions are guided from start to finish, so there is nothing to prepare or get right. The practitioner adjusts the pace to how you respond.

Who should not do intense breathwork?

Avoid intense breathwork if you are pregnant, have a heart condition or high blood pressure, epilepsy, glaucoma or retinal detachment, have had a stroke or aneurysm, are managing psychosis or bipolar disorder, or have recently had surgery. Message us before booking if any of these apply.

Is it normal to feel emotional during breathwork?

Yes. You should feel calmer and lighter by the end, and a longer session can also bring up emotion. That is a normal part of the release rather than something to worry about.
