Benefits

  • Hands-on treatment aimed at pain, mobility and recovery from injury, not just relaxation.
  • Also helps with chronic tension that a relaxing massage has not shifted.
  • Sessions are not fixed at one length, so the time is based on what you need.

What to expect

You will be asked briefly about any injuries, conditions or areas to avoid, then left to undress to your comfort level and lie under a sheet on a heated table. The practitioner works with oil unless the technique calls for something else, checking in on pressure as they go. Drink water afterwards, and expect the area worked to feel looser rather than sore for more than a day.
