Yoga at Rise Flow Heal

Our studio in Tabaris, in the heart of Beirut, runs several styles of group yoga. Hatha is a grounded practice that holds each posture for a few breaths, building strength and flexibility one pose at a time. Vinyasa Flow is more dynamic: breath-led, linking the postures into one continuous sequence. Yin Yoga is slow and meditative, with long-held passive postures that release deep tension, and is offered on its own or together with Reiki energy healing.

Classes are levelled, so a first-timer and a regular can be in the same room, and every style is also available as a private session paced entirely around you. If you would rather practise from home, Gentle Yoga for Beginners and the Soulshine Yoga Healing Session run by video. Yin Yoga with Soha can also be booked as a 90-minute Yoga + Energy Healing session, in a group or private. Many people come simply for the stress relief and calmer mind a regular practice brings.

Not sure which class to book? Our journal has a plain guide to the yoga styles and what to wear to your first class, both linked below.

Frequently asked questions

I am a complete beginner. Can I join a yoga class?

Yes. Classes are levelled, so a first-timer and a regular can be in the same room, and every pose has an easier version. Tell the teacher it is your first class and mention any injury before you start.

What should I wear and bring to my first yoga class?

Clothes you can move and bend in, ideally a top that stays put and bottoms without a hard waistband. Yoga is done barefoot. Bring water; our cork mats, blocks, straps, knee pads and bolsters (if you need one) are all provided, so you do not need your own.

When should I arrive, and can I eat before class?

Arrive ten to fifteen minutes early for a first class. Avoid a full meal in the two hours before; something light an hour or two before is better than arriving on an empty stomach.

Can I do yoga with a back problem or an injury?

Often yes, but tell the teacher before you start, including pregnancy or recent surgery. If something hurts rather than feels hard, stop and say so. A private session can be paced entirely around you.

Can I do yoga online if I am not in Lebanon?

Yes. Gentle Yoga for Beginners and the Soulshine Yoga Healing Session both run by video call with Mylene, so they work from anywhere in the world. Payment is by Revolut, which works from abroad, and is due before the session.
