Benefits

  • Practised lying down, so it asks very little of you: a good fit when you are tired.
  • Deep rest while staying aware, often described as sleep-like but restorative.
  • Starts with gentle Hatha, so your body unwinds first and settles more easily into the rest.

What to expect

Classes are levelled, so a first-timer and a regular can be in the same room. Wear something you can move in, bring water, and mention any injury to the teacher before you start. A private Gentle Hatha & Yoga Nidra session is paced entirely around you instead of a group.

Frequently asked questions

What if I fall asleep during yoga nidra?

Almost everyone does in their first few sessions, and no teacher minds. It usually means you were carrying more tiredness than you knew. Staying awake gets easier with practice.

What should I wear and bring to my first yoga class?

Clothes you can move and bend in, ideally a top that stays put and bottoms without a hard waistband. Yoga is done barefoot. Bring water; our cork mats, blocks, straps, knee pads and bolsters (if you need one) are all provided, so you do not need your own.

What clients say

“This is a very beautiful serene space...Amazing people and community. I have had a spectacular experience with Yoga Nidra...it is my go to class to relax, they make sure to provide comfortable setup, and to explain about the practice, share and connect in a safe space...Lotta is such a sweetheart with an obvious passion for yoga nidra, and Caroline always checking in and connecting even when she is travelling. For years I have been looking for such a space in Beirut, and am so glad that i found this spot in the middle of rising commercial yoga places. I totally recommend anyone to try it.”
