Benefits

  • Targets the specific tight points where your pain starts, not the whole body.
  • Aimed at referred pain, such as a headache or shoulder ache that actually comes from somewhere else.
  • Focused and efficient: a good choice if you know exactly where it hurts.

What to expect

You will be asked briefly about any injuries, conditions or areas to avoid, then left to undress to your comfort level and lie under a sheet on a heated table. The practitioner works with oil unless the technique calls for something else, checking in on pressure as they go. Drink water afterwards, and expect the area worked to feel looser rather than sore for more than a day.
