Massage in Achrafieh, Beirut

Professional massage in Beirut, at our studio in Tabaris, Achrafieh, a few minutes from Downtown and Gemmayzeh. Choose from relaxing Swedish massage, deep tissue and trigger point massage for stubborn knots, Thai massage, lymphatic drainage, maderotherapy, foot and hand reflexology and facial massage, or book a couple massage side by side, all with experienced therapists.

Massage and bodywork at Rise Flow Heal

Our Beirut studio offers therapeutic and relaxing massage for every kind of tension. Swedish massage is flowing and medium-pressure, for overall relaxation and circulation. Deep tissue and trigger point massage work slower and firmer on the knots that do not let go on their own. Thai massage is done clothed, with stretching instead of oil.

Alongside these we offer lymphatic drainage, maderotherapy, foot and hand reflexology, neck and shoulder massage, and facial treatments. Swedish and deep tissue massage can also be booked as a couple, side by side in the same room.

Not sure which one you need? Our journal compares Swedish, deep tissue and Thai massage side by side, and explains how often it is worth coming back.

What to expect

You will be asked briefly about any injuries, conditions or areas to avoid, then left to undress to your comfort level and lie under a sheet on a heated table. The practitioner works with oil unless the technique calls for something else, checking in on pressure as they go. Drink water afterwards, and expect the area worked to feel looser rather than sore for more than a day.

Which massage should I choose?

Swedish for general tension and stress, and the default if you are unsure. Deep tissue for persistent knots and long-held tension. Thai for stiffness and restricted movement, done clothed on a mat. Lymphatic drainage for fluid retention and heavy legs, not for muscle knots.

What do I wear during a massage?

You undress to whatever you are comfortable with, in private, and lie under a sheet on a heated table. Only the area being worked on is uncovered. For Thai massage and reflexology you stay fully clothed.

How often should I get a massage?

For general wellbeing and stress, once a month is a sensible default. For a specific problem, weekly or fortnightly for three to six sessions, then space them out. For desk stiffness, every three to four weeks alongside some daily stretching.

What should I tell the therapist before a massage?

Any injury, recent surgery, pregnancy, medical condition or blood-thinning medication, and which areas to focus on or avoid. Being specific about what is bothering you gets you a better session.

What clients say

“I was amongst the first ones who visited the newly opened center. Caroline’s warmth, and her passion for wellness was felt in the center. I went with menopausal symptoms for foot Reflexology to Anthony. He was extremely professional and had magical healing hands. I would close my eyes and recommend foot reflexology with Anthony.”

Everyone is so friendly and knowledgeable and you're immediately put at ease. I really enjoyed the session and Anthony was very knowledgable about his work and identified some of my health issues which I'm grateful for.”
